The Grant-in-Aid "Germline Epigenome" and JSPS gave me a wonderful chance to attend the keynote lecture of Professor Sir John B. Gurdon, the 2012 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, at The 1st International Symposium on the Future of Nuclear Transfer and Nuclear Reprogramming at Yamanashi University on March 10, 2016. It was my great honor to be given the presentation award directly from Sir John Gurdon for my research poster: "Exogenous Expression of human protamine1 (hPrm1) Remodels Fibroblasts Nuclei into Spermatid-like Structure". I was really flattered and honored. Sir John Gurdon is, for me and for everybody, the most admirable scientist because of his kind character, his biological questions always open, always in search of answers.
